We can all agree that the Yeezys have been an iconic must-have sneaker for Christmas and the holidays. From setting the tone in terms of embracing a futuristic styling aesthetic, taking a chance on non-conventional designs, and the bombastic fashion choices associated with the brand. Every time I see them worn in the wild, I can’t help but turn my head. With the holiday season right around the corner, I plan on getting a new pair of Yeezys, and below are the five I got my eye on.

Adidas Yeezy Slide ‘Bone’
Honestly, when I want to get out of the door quickly, there isn’t a shoe more comfortable than a slide. I can just slip them on and go. However, slip-ons generally sacrifice style for comfort, but not so with the Yeezy Slide ‘Bone.’ Adidas was able to design a bold slipper with EVA foam in a monochromatic colorway. Can you say minimalistic? These chanclas are my fourth choice, because, though I may not always wear sandals, I can still appreciate a fire design.
Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Zebra
I am a sucker for a minimalist style. I don’t need a ton of fancy icons and designs. So in 2017, when Adidas came out with one of it’s most iconic colorways–I was lowkey hyped. The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Zebra is a silhouette of black and white with zebra like stripes. The uppers are sleek and stylish and go with all your favorite fits. I don’t think my sneaker collection would be complete without these futuristic kicks which is why they deserve this final spot on my holiday list.
The hardest decision when it comes to picking Yeezy for the holidays, is having to pick just one. With so many choices, It’s overwhelming. I can’t help but think; what if I choose wrong? My mantra in life is “why not both?” Basically, why should I only pick one of these 5 Adidas sneakers when I could have them all and be the ultimate sneakerhead. So that’s how I’m going to cop Yeezys for the holidays.
